Why choose me?
The business of yoga is something I understand from multiple angles because I’ve approached it from so many! My path has taken me from a hustling newbie struggling to make ends meet teaching 15+ classes a week, to intermediate foundling confused on why my classes and workshops weren’t filling up, to 5+ years of comprehensive studio management, to finally launching my own small business. It has been hard work and totally worth it! I love being a small business owner and accredited yoga education provider. From the ground up has defined this process for me, paving the way for solid advice to share. From practical marketing, to energy management, to how to avoid burnout (yes, it’s real!). Reconciling the purist desires of wanting to pursue only what I love to a practical understanding of the legitimate importance of the business side of things has been a walk on the wild side. The two formerly opposing elements are now happily partnered fueling my passion educating on the inescapable business elements faced by yoga professionals so they can excel in the field! I possess a strong, useful, and informed attention to detail. Read more about my journey to owning my own small business and what motivates me here.

Mentorship Reviews:
“Lana is an excellent mentor. She really knows the business side of teaching yoga, and she’s unafraid to share her knowledge. She can help you through every step of creating your own business, from creating your business plan to how to market yourself on social media. She’s very patient and explains things in clear and easily understandable language. I’ve never had a question that she was unable or unwilling to help me with. I can honestly say that without her mentorship I would not be where I am in my own business today. She’s an invaluable resource and a genuinely kind person. Whether you are just starting your yoga business or you need some guidance on an existing one she can really help you take it to the next level.” - Sophie
“I reached out to Lana of Wild Thing School of Yoga around August of 2020. She was very prompt in her response and setting up a first meeting. I went in with ideas and thoughts all over the place and she was able to reign those together and make the most of our time. She got me started on building a website, helped me in between sessions when i had those 'I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-doing' moments of insecurity, and encouraged me on my path to being a better yoga entrepreneur. I highly recommend Lana and her business coaching!” - Caitlin
