5 Special Things about Wild Thing Teacher Training
Never Boring – Do you think twice about the idea of spending 200 hours with the same yoga teacher? One awesome thing about YTT with Wild Thing is that we keep it fresh. Every weekend features masters in the field introducing students to the subjects and area of yoga which they are most passionate about and educated and experienced with. Expect to discover a new destination each weekend with Wild Thing.
Ground Up Learning – Never-mind learning every name of every pose and cramming your noggin with mental diagrams of poses you need to remember. Wild Thing teaches from the ground up. Our knowledgeable educators start with a base pose in it most simple form. Then intuitively explore the ways in which subtle motions link and build together a wide range of poses. This way of learning transforms the cerebral into the physical in a way which explores muscle movement, anatomy, and postures that feels natural.
Teach from Day One - We start where we want to finish at Wild Thing and this means you get to start teaching from day one! Don’t worry we begin with a single pose and add as you learn and grow.
Get Your Sanskrit On – We include Sanskrit in our curriculum as an opportunity for you to explore the history, philosophy, and even the myths and stories behind the pose names.
Business Ready – We want our learners to succeed! That is why we have a comprehensive business strategy, marketing, and management section to our YTT. Starting a business or choosing Yoga as a profession requires thought and planning. Get a head start on choosing the direction you want to go after graduation with modules on legal and liability information, LLC vs. Sole Proprietor, and what not to forget when it comes to making a business plan!
